Made in Durham intern supports youth action projects

April 16, 2018

Brittany Chambers, a Master of School Administration candidate at N.C. Carolina Central University, is working part-time with the Youth Network through June supporting members with their eight action projects related to racial equity.

Each project focuses on identifying and addressing racial inequities in the schools Network members attend.

Chambers provides ongoing feedback, helping students fine tune their visions, missions and strategies, and offering professional guidance.

Chambers also interns as an assistant principal at Riverside High School in Durham and expects to graduate in May.
