This problem is not new, but with the closure of public institutions like schools and libraries, the digital divide is growing and presenting more inequities than ever before. Despite the many unique challenges Made in Durham's 5th Youth Network (YN) cohort faced, they were still able to wrap up action projects in their schools and complete the selection process for the new cohort. Access to a computer can be crucial for educational and career success, but many of Durham’s youth do not have the funds to purchase their own. Fortunately, Made in Durham has been able to expand computer access for Durham youth with a technology grant from United Way of the Greater Triangle. MORE
